I like the steam sauna

I have alway felt the dry sauna was the best. first thing i did when I went to my gym was to get in it and relax. one summer I had the chance to use three difference saunas. one was steam, it was so thick with steam, you could cut it with a knife. I couldn't breathe.

The owner was in the sauna and he ask me to put my head down and breathe slow, that was better. I was only able to stay in there ten minutes, compared to the one hour I can stay in the dry.

The next sauna I tried was the steam and dry mix, just a little moisture in the air. that was nice, I stay in there thirty minutes.

Then I went on to dry heat. well I looked at the temp before I went in and was set at 105 degrees. I said oh yes this is me. one or two minutes was all I could take.

I felt like a roasted chicken. it was extra hot and dry. I could not breathe the hot air into my nose. I will never forget how hot it was in there. very nice gym below the hotel. thought I was in Paris.

Few years later i went online and bought me a portable steam sauna, I love it.

Wish i could lay down and relax in it, that's the only draw backs. The steam gets me sweating fast. A good thirty minutes and I feel refreshed. The gym I am at now does not have a dry sauna, if it did I would use it too.

I am hooked on the steam sauna now. but I have nothing against the dry.
