A steam shower generator is what produces the “steam“ for your shower.

(For the sake of accuracy, the "steam" is actually visible water vapor)

How You Can Own One

More and more homeowners are installing their own steam units at home.

There are basically two options for installing a steam shower.

You can either…

1. Buy a ready-made, self contained enclosure, or
2. Build your own

If you buy a home steam shower enclosure, it will include a steam shower generator and it will be built to contain steam.

You can buy a unit small enough for one or big enough to hold 2 or 3+.

If you decide you want to build a steam shower, you’ll need to hire a contractor (unless you have some serious handyman skills), buy a steam generator and a steam shower door.
